The Chinese aircraft manufacturer COMAC (Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China. Ltd.) made a stop at Lantal during it’s European tour. The high-level delegation was welcomed in Langenthal.

Mid 2018, the Canadian airline WestJet unveiled the new look of its new, long-awaited Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, which begins Canadian domestic service on February 20 and transatlantic service on April 28. In addition to a new livery and logo, the cabin interiors have also been reworked. Lantal supplied the seat covers, carpets and curtains for the Business and Premium Economy cabins.

Once a year, for students enrolled in the Textile Design Department of the Lucerne School of Art and Design, Lantal offers counsel as an external partner within the scope of a project. This gives students insights into one of the few textile companies in Switzerland that still manufacture their products locally. During the project for an imaginary customer, they design interior fabrics for a passenger jet cabin and can implement their ideas on Lantal's looms.

At this year’s AIX in Hamburg, Lantal is presenting TEC-Leather, its latest product innovation, as well as the newest design trends and a broad spectrum of deliverables. Visit us at our stand 6E70 in Hall B6 from April 10 to 12.

Lufthansa’s A350 Economy Class cabin wins the German Design Award 2018. Lantal created the seat covers for the award-winning cabin.
